33. index entry

If you decided to prepare a simple index, then a simpler dialog box appears. If you decide to work with multiple indices, then you will have also an option to select the corresponding index, as shown in the screenshot.

If you first select a word (or words, or any string), then the selected text appears in the two first fields of the dialog, and you can accept this or edit.

This clip adds the proper  \index  command  in front  of the selected word(s). This fixes some problems with improper page references in the indices.
