A dialog box appears for defining requirements for typesetting formula(s). Depending on user's choice, the 'equation', 'displaymath', 'eqnarray', or 'eqnarray*' environment is used. If there is selected text, then the corresponding environment will be inserted AFTER the selection on the new row.
