On-line translators

The following translation services are Unicode-aware. They also more or less preserve HTML+CSS formatting, and from this point of view Google is undoubtedly the best. All other available on-line translators are not so good.

• Google automatic translation (Western languages)
• PROMT online translator (between Russian and Western languages) — note: you must allow cookies.

Remember that all those translators are automatic, so translations are only approximate (and sometimes very funny).

There is also an interesting web site Lingo24 providing a free online Arabic-English, English-Arabic, Chinese-English and English-Chinese dictionary, an Arabic language paraphrasing tool, an English language paraphrasing tool, a Chinese language paraphrasing tool, and an interface to some other free online machine translation tools.
